Awards, recognitions and accreditation milestones for Durdans Hospital.
Durdans Hospital was the first hospital in Sri Lanka to receive JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation, the gold standard in global healthcare, and has since been re-accredited, including the JCI Gold Seal of Approval in 2017.
Durdans Laboratory Services achieved the globally recognised ISO 15189:2012 standard for clinical laboratories in 2012, accredited by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB).
Durdans Hospital was awarded an AA- brand rating by Brand Finance plc in 2010, and won recognition at the Chartered Accountants Annual Reports Awards for the healthcare sector for four consecutive years from 2007 (Gold in 2007 and 2009, Silver in 2008 and 2010).
The hospital also holds the Compliance+ certificate of accreditation for excellence in employer practice, issued by the Employers Federation of Ceylon.
